I'm Roshan Davina Eddy the human behind The Studio Libran, the brand that helps you connect the dots in your brand story!
I'm an artist, illustrator and brand palette creator who helps female-led businesses reach their right audience through a cohesive visual system that tells their story.
I believe every brand has a story to share with the world, but not the right visual language.
For over 25 years, I've worked with coaches, therapists, consultants, creatives and product-based businesses where I noticed these talented, driven women had the same challenge again and again.
They were piecing together their visual identity one design decision at a time.
That's where I come in.
The road to The Studio Libran was by no means
a linear growth, but a long winding one ~
Inspired by storytelling, wildlife and the belief that good design should empower rather than overwhelm, I have built up my brand through the years.
But before all that, I was just Davina in professional circles.
Creativity was always a part of who I am. If I wasn't drawing, I was photographing, illustrating or designing.
However, life was very different a few years ago - I forgot how to be creative. I had to put it on hold.
When I could finally start again, I was jaded and worried for the future.
This time, I was not alone, but had a tiny human with a big personality, Popote (my daughter). Slowly steadily, one step at a time I've been rebuilding those bridges lost.
Long before The Studio Libran, I had been freelancing, without noticing I was building a business. Working with NGOs, small businesses and entrepreneurs taught me my craft through experience and the curiosity to keep learning.
Being a single parent I recognised the people around me who were dealing with a lot too - different stories, same spark.
There were women who knew where they wanted to go, but don't do design.
Women who were building their brand quietly in the margins of their life.
Women who were wanting to craft a future for themselves where they were heard and seen. Just like I was creating a future for me and my daughter!

At The Studio Libran Desk
Any normal day I have a cup of long forgotten tea sitting on my desk besides my laptop or my painting supplies. If it's not tea, then it's tiramisu or anything chocolate.
When I'm not creating watercolours, oils or digital illustrations, I'm learning more fun facts about the wildlife around us. I tend to get quite excited about that.
My playful work contains the recurring characters Popote and Mr. Golden crab, along with many cute wildlife creatures.
Landscapes, preferably seascapes are fun to paint to, especially of places I've visited. So in case you want some fun interior decor, I'm your gal.
